Our dining ethos is pretty uncomplicated; we want to offer you fresh, simple, tasty food. We aim to take the best of ingredients from West Clare and serve them to you naturally and deliciously.
Our seafood is caught and delivered directly to us each morning from local areas like Carrigaholt and from the mackerel boats in the summer. All our Irish soda bread, pastries and desserts are made in house by our resident bakers’ renowned for their light touch. Our a la carte menu is available all day on in our sunlit veranda and bar; and weather permitting, in our sunny patio.
Our private dining room has helped guests celebrate anniversaries, weddings, christenings, and birthdays and has offered a place to remember friends and family that may no longer be with us. For our residents, breakfast, on our sunny veranda, provides a wonderful start to the day. It is served between 8.30 and 10.30 each morning. Keep an eye out for the local fishermen on the corner selling their freshly caught mackerel, we are more than happy to get some and cook it up for you.
The Stella Maris Sunday lunch is a delicious opportunity to unwind and enjoy a traditional feast of perfectly roasted meats and seasonal vegetables – Sundays could easily become your favourite day of the week. Ask to see our wine list, we have secured some very special selections.
Our bar is stocked with a variety of smooth and smoky whiskeys and malts; crisp and heady wines and liqueurs and one of the best pints of ‘the black stuff’ in the area. Come and enjoy first hand all that this unique area has to offer.
