When you dine with us in Stella Maris Hotel in Kilkee our ambition is to offer you simple uncomplicated food. We aim to take the best of ingredients from West Clare and serve them to you simply and deliciously.
All our meat comes directly from our own family butcher “Haugh’s Butchers” and being on the coast of Ireland our seafood is caught and delivered directly to us each morning from Carrigaholt and Doonbeg. All our Soda Bread, pastries and desserts are made in house. We serve our a la carte menu all day on our veranda and in our bar. We also specialise in catering for bespoke weddings, parties and functions as we have private dining areas. Packed lunches and group picnics can also be arranged.
For our resident guests breakfast on our sunny veranda provides a wonderful start to the day. It is served between 8.30 and 10.30 each morning. Keep an eye out for the local fishermen on the corner selling their freshly caught mackerel, we are more than happy to get some and cook it for you.
Our Sunday lunches are a delicious opportunity to unwind and enjoy a traditional feast of perfectly roasted meats and seasonal vegetables – Sundays in Stella Maris hotel in Kilkee could easily become your favourite day of the week. We have a good selection of wine, draught and bottled beers and a large choice of Irish and Scotch whiskeys.
